Today I interpreted consecutively at the visit of the Information Technologies Department delegation from Punjab, Pakistan, to the Public Health Department of Moscow. Public Health Department specialists showed the delegation a new single electronic system – IMIAS – that brings together all medical organizations of Moscow. Due to this system patients can now make appointments to see a physician electronically through terminals, web site or mobile applications and medical records are also in the electronic form.

 

On 7-8 February I interpreted simultaneously the sessions on new approaches to airports’ non-aviation activity management, cyber security in aviation and relevant issues of transport safety at V National Aviation Infrastructure Show. The sessions focused on new technical developments, safety improvement methods and amendments to legislation. It is quite possible that we will see many of these new devices in action in major Russian airports in the near future!
